With the upcoming onslaught of Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys about to hit, it looks like Bandai will be continuing a classic trend. And semi-classic. Oh prequels, you.
Bandai put up a small tease for their S.H. Figuarts Battle Droid a week or so ago, but Tag Hobby has posted a magazine page showing a little bit more. The figure has a removable head and can fold down into it’s dormant mode. I’m okay with the choice. It’s something we don’t have in 6-inch scale yet so that’s always welcome, but will future release be different colorways of this same body and get in the way of more new characters? I get it, I really do, but I need as many 1:12 Star Wars figures as possible!
The new reveal is a Figuarts Biker Scout with Speeder Bike. We have pretty good versions from Hasbro’s Black Series and the Bandai model kits, so I’m not super excited here but we’ll see what happens. I am a total sucker.
I just received S.H. Figuarts Jedi Luke in the mail (review coming soon!) and he looks pretty damn good in the collection so I may now be on the Figuarts train after skipping Vader. All of these Star Wars figures, so little cash.
