The Four Horsemen brought the thunder at SDCC with an assortment of super cool test shots and detailed prototypes from their Mythic Legions and Power Lords lines.
First up are a couple of cool new heads for the Gothitropolis/Mythic Legions Raven figures. The dragon is a really fun idea and my favorite.
The Powerlords figures had some new prototypes including some armored warriors and Raygoth (the blue guy). Although the prototypes look like a larger scale, I confirmed with the 4H that they are going to continue in the smaller 4 inch scale.
Seeing these Gothitropolis test shots, I find myself regretting that I didn’t order more Orks and Skeletons. And Dwarves. And Knights. The range of movement on these looks pretty great and the articulation is solid. I like the ball jointed torso and the ankles have good swivel to help create a solid pose. I can’t wait for these!
Last, but certainly not least is this bad boy. This is an ogre planned for the Mythic Legion line. For an idea of scale, the knight he is holding like a rag doll is a 6 inch figure. I’m so glad to see that the 4H are continuing to build their fantasy world with larger monsters. I spoke with Eric and he said the ogre is still in progress, so I’m curious to see what the final product will be like.
