Marvel Legends Pre-order Extravaganza!

Hasbro Marvel Legends Spider-Man Infinite Pre Featured

Wow, what a day. How much have you guys spent already? Me, I’m probably sleeping on the couch until Thanksgiving.

A whole slew of Marvel Legends figures went up for pre-order today and it was a frenzy. I was at work so it was hard for me to get in on the action ,as you can tell by my quickly thrown up article from earlier. That was me hiding from bosses and trying to pre-order my own all at the same time so there wasn’t a lot of time for reaction or words.

The first to go up was the new series of Ant-Man Legends Infinite. We get two figures that we shuffled out of previous mixes, Bulldozer and Tigershark. Giant-man n his modern costume, and a welcome re-do of Wasp. A movie Ant-Man that I personally dig, and then a new base body in the form of Grim Reaper, who I can’t wait to get my grubby hands on.

The best thing about these pre-orders are the new pics of the figures that give us a better idea of what we’re actually getting. I can’t get too excited about promo pics, too doctored and we can’t trust the paint apps on prototypes. But I have to say all three series look good in their final forms.

The BAF of this series is Ultron in his final movie form. For the Build-a-Figures we still only have the promo pics to go by, but you can get a pretty good idea from the individual parts pictures with each figure. Want.

And Wasp is double packed along with Ant-Man? Crazy.

You can pre-order this series from our favorite online stores, like BigBadToyStore, Entertainment Earth, and Dorkside Toys.

If Amazon is more your thing, they have all the figures listed individually, and they just added Wasp.

Next is the next Avengers Legends Infinite series, the Hulkbuster wave.

Hulkbuster is going to be insanely large. War Machine is the double pack, which is unfortunate, but this is another solid wave with two strong females in Thundra and Valkyrie, the classic villain Blizzard, and a modern yet cool Vision. Dr. Strange is going to become popular over the coming years so a new figure is needed for the shelf before the movie blitz. And then another Iron Man. I like this color scheme and I’ve been on an armor kick lately so he’s bought.

Pre-orders are up at BBTS, Entertainment Earth, and Dorkside.

Finally, the next Spider-Man Legends Infinite wave, the Rhino BAF series.

Look at the guns that comes with Chameleon! Again, two females, Misty Knight and White Tiger. I’m loving this trend of more females, especially when they look so good. I’m loving the new Ghost Rider, even more so since I had the same idea for a custom recipes and the head looks better than what I had in mind. Ben Reilly is awesome, and although I’m not too familiar with Superior Venom I’m still liking the design. Kraven looks to have lost a few paint apps but that’s too be expected. He’s on the new base body and still looks fantastic.

From the individual Rhino pieces it’s revealed that there are indeed hip swivels. I was afraid they weren’t there when we first saw the prototype.

Pre-order at BBTS, EE, or DorkSide. All are great.

So there you go. Three more series of Marvel Legends to continue a year that has already been packed full. These should be hitting in July and August so what can we expect for the end of the year. What else can possibly be revealed at SDCC? My heart is filled with excitement, my wallet filled with dread. And dust.
