The Hasbro team kicked off Yo Joe June 2025 properly with a Fanstream featuring name only reveals, digital renders, and new preorders. Let’s talk about it!
They started the show with a preview of the figures from the Cold Slither Box Set and they were looking very nice. It’s impressive to see them lined up together, though I have to agree with Tony that they need a riser for the drum kit. That will be easy to do with some insulation foam. This one will be SDCC exclusive available at the show with leftovers online afterwards. I’m still dreading the price reveal on this one!
The Name Only reveals for this stream were the Desert Viper and Pet Scorpion and the Steel Corps Sentry w/ Defense Post (pictured below).

I’m assuming the defense post will be a joe-themed repaint of the recent Cobra fortification, but they could surprise us with a modern take on the old outpost defender playset. Hmm. Looking at it again, I guess the Cobra fortification is kind of a modern take on the outpost defender.

They re-showed the render reveal for the A.W.E. Striker but talked a bit about some of the features including a removeable back seat and roll cage, rubber tires, turning wheels, opening tool box, and radio w/commo cord. Sounds good, but I need to see it from some different angles, so hopefully it will be a physical model at one of the later fanstreams this month. No indication of the cost, but Lenny said it’s pretty big, so I’m thinking VAMP/Stinger territory.
I’ve been hearing this rumored for a while, so it’s nice to see the render of this legacy police officer. Looks to me like he re-uses a bunch of Law and Order pretty effectively. I do really like the two swappable heads for variety, but I don’t love that it makes them have to do the under-armor look on the rolled up sleeves. I think these will make great general swat and riot cops, but less effective as general beat cops with all the military gear. That said, cops are unfortunately looking more and more like soldiers every day. The coffee cup inclusion is pretty funny, though it’s a missed opportunity to get some Dreadnok-ready chocolate-covered donuts in the line with this guy first.
The Sarge and Mercer two-pack looks nice, I especially like that they re-used Heavy Duty parts to make a different look for the Sarge in desert gear. Mercer does look a little dinky next to Sarge, but I guess I’ve gotten used to hulk-sized Mercer from Skybound. I just hope that vest is a different piece from the belt, or his ab crunch will be pretty useless.
The Slice and Dice two pack is something we’ve been seeing in leaked parts from overseas for a while, but it’s great to see the final deco. I especially like Slice’s scorpion inspired alternate mask and that the extra hat can also work as a shield. I think it was pretty clever to bring the trim colors from Slice onto Dice for more armor swapping compatibility, though I didn’t order extras to army build. This two-pack is pulse exclusive and went up at 10AM Pacific today.
Keeping with the Ninja Force theme, deluxw Budo went up for pre-order on most sites today at 10 as well. I love that there are two full sets of armor and they can also mix and match. The removeable top knot takes me back to the Articulated Icons figures and their Samurai gear, so you know I’m pitting Budo against Fumetsu and friends when he arrives. I do wish the shoulder pads attached to the arms rather than the chest armor, but it still looks nice in the photos.
Col. Hawk and the MMS also went up for sale today at 10 as a fan channel and Amazon release. We kinda knew this on was coming when they released the HMS, but I love the look of it in the old school military green with all of those bright white decals. I know most fans think of the bomber jacket Hawk as their Hawk, but Original 13 Hawk has also been a big want for me, so I’m stoked to finally get him. I’m also a big fan of the Hama comics and this Hawk is more in line with what we saw in the majority of those early comics. We are getting pretty close to completing that original group, so what I really want to see this month is Flash!
Finally, Emily did mention that they were planning on starting their next Joe Haslab before the end of the month and made a lot of snow puns while doing so (cool, chill, frosty), so I’m thinking it has to be the Snow Cat. I wouldn’t have thought they’d need a Haslab for that vehicle, so I’m curious at the size, features, and costs they have planned. Hey, I’ll take a lower-priced Haslab for sure, but it does feel a little to me like if they do the Snow Cat as a Haslab, they might want to do Thunder Machine that way too and I am desperate for that to hit sooner rather than later.
They did say that they will be back for more this month, so be prepared for more Joe goodness this June!
