SDCC is upon us again! For Hasbro, Preview Night traditionally doesn’t feature any reveals, but it is nice to see some of the more recent pre-order figures in person. I especially liked how Phoenix and the Rogue and Destiny two-pack turned out and cannot wait to get my hands on that Death’s Head. Wish me luck, readers.
The Classified figures out were a lot of stuff that’s shipping right now. There was a big blank case for the upcoming Haslab which I completely forgot to photograph! It was super cool to see all the Dragonfly figures in person too.
One thing I wasn’t expecting was they had a Three Zero case with the 1/6 scale Snake Eyes and some six inch sized non-transforming transformers from the upcoming movie.
Finally, it was nice to see the Thrawn and his troopers in the Black Series. I was especially drooling over that Hammerhead figure. Seeing him and that 3.75 inch cantina in person made me think about how I really want more cantina aliens in Black Series.
I was really impressed with Hasbro's preview night showing. The new Marvel Legends look really nice, even to this modern-Marvel-Comics-ignorant toy fan. Hasbro revealed a lot of great looking new stuff this preview night. I'm really impressed with the deep villain roster they are tapping here with Batroc, Radioactive Man and especially Tiger Shark.
