I’m not a symbiote guy, nor a big reader of Midnight Sons, so I was thinking of sitting this Venompool wave out, but something about Morbius called to me. I’ve long wanted to army build some snarling vampires for Blade to fight, so I think that’s a big part of it. Let’s take a look!
Morbius comes in a pretty standard Marvel Legends box, but the white base color on the front is a refreshing change.
Morbius is pretty light on accessories, coming only with the BAF parts and a removeable cape. As much as I like the amazing bitey-face portrait, an alternate expression could have been cool.
Sculpting is pretty great on this guy, especially the screaming portrait. The costume looks like a good match for Morbius’ #1 issue look and I really like the textures and tattered detail of the cape. The cape stays on there pretty well and stays out of the way for the most part.

Articulation is ML standard and moves well and I’m glad that the head can look up well so he can get into good crouches. Paint is pretty basic, but gets the job done. The costume looks pretty black, but it’s actually a really dark purple. There is a little slop around the teeth detail.

This figure is pretty fun to play with and photograph and totally works as a generic Vampire for me and the portrait is one of my favorites from recent Marvel Legends. I just wish I could find my super-articulated Buffy figure to fight him.
