Gotta think it’s soon, given the amount and quality of these pictures.
And honestly, Midoriya looks amazing. Costume-wise I think Gamma is my favorite with it’s like white sleeves, and Kaiyodo is the first to give us a Shoot Style Deku.
If you follow the Amazing Yamaguchi line you know that there has been an evolution as the line gets older. At first the joints were very….Revoltechy…and not up everyone’s alley, but with each release they seem to be refining it. It still utilizes Revo joints but problem spots like the torso and hips have been tweaked until they aren’t as gappy and unmanageable as they used to be. Midoriya seems to utilize that to the fullest.
Then there are the accessories. Tons of options here. Quirk add-ons, hands, word effects and bubble for when he’s concentrating on his notes with the notepad and pen. Two face and hair options and then the eyes. NOT moving eyes, thankfully. I mean, I dig the ability to have the figure look in different directions and appreciate the effort, but as I get older they are more of a pain in the ass. Especially if you’re slightly OCD and can’t stand them to be slightly off. With this release they try something different and give swappable eyes.
The effect remains, and sure, you’re locked into the pre-sets, but I think I like think way better.
Like I said, with these pics showing up, the pre-order can’t be far behind.
