Medicom is re-releasing their MAFEX Spider-Man: Homecoming figure, which was already pretty sweet, but this time around there are a few tweaks!
I actually saw little Facebook pics of this yesterday but I couldn’t see details as well as I wish I could, so I waited for larger pics. And even with more detail, I’m positive this is the exact same figure as Ver. 1 with all the same accessories. Which is not a bad thing, I ranked the first MAFEX higher than both Legends and S.H. Figuarts. It’s my main display Homecoming Spidey. But looking more and more, I think Ver. 1.5 will have a brighter color scheme.
To further my theory, these shots are actually Ver. 1 images with the colors brightened. Let’s hope their continued improvement (although still not where it could be) face printing makes the Holland head look better than the first. That was the biggest letdown with that release.
The new version includes the same swappable eye pieces…
…but also includes the sets only new accessory, Instant Kill Eyes!
Why does the webline paints on these seem so ragged?
