WrestleMania 35 has come and gone. Now there’s nothing left but the recaps, analysis and the crazy RAW after Mania. But for figure collectors, there’s always something else to look forward to — the inevitable release of Wrestlemania 35 figures.
Typically we get a mix of looks from the event for at least one wave of figures. Here’s my choices for WrestleMania 35 figures.
AJ Styles
Just like he would for Wrestle Kingdom cards, AJ usually goes super special for his WrestleMania gear. His regular attire is black with an accent color. This year he wore a flashy black with white and gold accents. It popped and would definitely be a standout figure against the rest of the AJ figures.
The Usos
The SmackDown Live champs have had cool gear for awhile with their Day One attire, but at Mania they rocked sweet Uso Collection hoodies and long shorts. The Usos tend to wear a lot of red and black and this white and grey color scheme was a nice departure from their norm. If Mattel goes the extra route and makes their attire cloth it could be their best figures.
New Day
I loved New Day’s Three Kings attire and it’s the kind of detailed look that warrants a special presentation. We’ve gotten a few WrestleMania attires from the trio. But this would need the works complete with Yes, There’s a New Champ cloth T-shirts.
Rey Mysterio
OK there
was zero chance I wasn’t going for this one. Rey as Mysterio was so
obvious I’m surprised he hadn’t done it before, but since he’s debuting
this ahead of Spider-Man: Far From Home he’s still ahead of the curve.
Charlotte Flair
The SmackDown Live champ rocked a vintage Ric Flair color scheme with a cool pearlescent purple and lavender. Hopefully, the figure could come with a robe and helicopter leather jacket accessories in addition to the SmackDown Live title.
Flashbacks: I’m sticking to 2019 Hall of Famers this time since Target killed off that exclusive line.
Brutus Beefcake
Mattel somewhat infamously went with the WrestleMania 9 look for Bruti, but for this figure, I’m pulling for a Dream Team version to signify Beefcake’s heel tenure in WWF.
Jim Neidhart
We’re not getting an Owen Hart figure, but it’d be nice to complete the iconic 1997 incarnation of The Hart Foundation with a solo version of The Anvil.
