Teased last year, it looks like we’ll see more of the figma Space Invaders…..invader at this weekend’s Wonder Festival!
Taito has tweeted pics of the prototype and it’s looks amazing. Full of detail and seemingly articulated all to hell, this is going to be a cool addition to the classic gaming shelf.
My only fear is that since it’s figma it might be a bit small, but I think I can still find a place for it. If nothing else, and if the size is right, it can possibly be used as a stand-in for Zzzax. Maybe?
That also depends on the color scheme. The figure is based on the side of the classic arcade cabinet, so we’ll probably see more red and black than white and yellow. Wonder Festival is Sunday, hopefully there will be more revealed.
