Bandai: S.H. Figuarts Avengers: Infinity War Iron Man Mark L Review

And ANOTHER Iron Man for review! It’s like they are falling from the sky! It’s raining Iron Mans! As part of the recent S.H. Figuarts Summer Slam, Iron Man Mark L (50) from Avengers: Infinity War was released this month.

And it is so freaking hard to write about another Iron Man armor! The Mark L is the latest suit appearing in Avengers: Infinity War. I’m certain there is a comic counterpart to it, as many of these armors can be directly tied to a comic armor, but I have no clue which one. This is a nano type armor that seems to be skin tight and has the ability to make weapons. I think. I actually don’t remember as I was constantly being wowed by everything going on in this movie, so I’ll just say I’m right.

Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts Mark L is an amazing action figure, another beautifully designed and engineered action Iron Man action figure. While the sculpt and articulation are amazing, the paint on this figure really pops making it one of my favorite Iron Man action figures.

The figure itself isn’t huge, but with the form fitting nanotech it would make sense that this armor is slightly smaller than most. The shoulders are a bit large and the strange pegging in the inner shoulder cuff makes it look like the Mark L and can’t put it’s arms at it’s side. An easy remedy as you use need to pop the shoulders out and cut out some of the inside flashing. Presto-whammo fixed shoulders.

Iron Man comes with plenty of extra parts, hands and blasters as well as the extra nano weapons. The lower arms easily slide off and you can slide the nano weapons over the forearm stubs. Pretty cool way to have removable parts.

Yeah, this is yet another Iron Man, and yeah it does get tiring reviewing toys are that consistently made with top quality designs, engineering and manufacturing. But it must be done. I will gladly recommend that you purchase yet another Iron Man to add to your collection.
