Bandai: S.H. Figuarts Iron Man 2 Iron Man Mark V

The Mark V armor came out as another Bandai S.H. Hall of Armor action figure that came out at the end of 2017, and being the lazy bum that I am, I did not order one. For those with short term memory, the Mark V appeared in the Iron Man 2 movie.

Bandai’s been killing it with the Hall of Armor’s collection. I’m about caught up, upcoming releases aside and I am loving everyone of these. I was tentative about the Mark V at first, it’s a strange armor in it being the “suitcase” armor and somewhat thin; but it turned out great. Bandai made another solid figure and it’s a ton of fun to play with.

Like the rest of Bandai’s Iron Man figures, the Mark V follows the same juicy pattern of beautiful sculpting and excellent articulation. These armors pop off the shelf and can pose better than any action figure in the business. I love their hand candyness and have trouble putting them down.

The Mark V comes with a ton of accessories, they’re the usual suspects in extra hands and repulsor blasts. With all these hands and repulsor blasts I’ll need to get a new storage unit to store and sort all these parts. The Mark V does come with the suitcase, that Happy or Pepper can carry around, wait… As I was late to the game I picked up the Mark V off eBay, which means I did not get the actual Hall of Armor part, I explained in earlier articles, not critical for me.

I can’t recommend this figure enough, the worst part about it is that it make me want Whiplash, Hammer, Rhodey, Pepper and Happy all the more. You can still pick it up today:
