Hasbro: Spider-Man Homecoming Legends Stark Tech Spidey and Vulture Video and Quick Pics

I’m circling back around to take a look at the Spider-Man: Homecoming Vulture now that I’ve finished off the wings. I originally did the video review of the figure itself along with comic Beetle but never posted the pics. But I got the last piece of the Build-a-Wing with the Stark Tech Spider-Man, so let’s just throw him in here along with it. Hero. Villain. It works.

I think.

Either way, it’s good to have the main protagonist and then the antagonist in all its glory. Seriously, the wings are impressive as all hell. Nearly two feet span, all kinds of articulation, and while the paint is sparse, there is some surprise to the paint. And then the Vulture figure itself is no slouch. Just a beautiful sculpt that screams modern cinematic but has some classic comic flair, especially when it comes to the collar. The helmet isn’t removable but the beady eyes behind the shield and the beak-like mask is actually a bit scary.

Spider-Man, I love. I’ve seen a lot of people commenting on how the body is oddly shaped or the head is big, but I’m a “see the forest” kind of guy. I think it’s that awkwardness that sells it to me. Tom Holland may not look exactly like this but to me, this is a super nice MCU Spider-Man, faults and all. And there were a few faults. If you watch the video you’ll see that I had to fix a couple of QC issues. Even after that I still love it.
