Product images have appeared, revealing the final production figures for the X-Men Legends Warlock wave. A few surprises for sure, both good and not so good.
And I say not so good in that “Aw, I thought it would include _________” kind of way. But overall the figures look great! I can’t wait to get them in my grubby little hands.
Cyclops
People were kind of hoping that Scott would have an optic blast of some kind. No such luck. But this figure is good enough to make me want some more Jim Lee X-Men figures and that’s probably my least favorite iteration of the team. So good job!
Dazzler
Another surprise here is that Dazzler only comes with one effect. we’ve always seen these in pairs. But she does involve a bit of new sculpting and that microphone is awesome.
Polaris
See? There’s the pair of effects. Nothing much to say except I love this figure, exactly what I wanted.
Shatterstar
A pair of swords is really all our boy Shatterstar needs. Again, happy with this costume choice, but I wouldn’t turn away a modern version down the line.
Sunfire
Yay flame hands! Once again, excellent costume choice, the one we’ve needed forever. But it makes me want a Thunderbird.
Wolverine
I want to call the old man Logan the most disappointing of the wave. Not because of the figure itself, that’s perfectly fine. But whoa, that’s a lot of wide open space in that package. Nothing? Really, nothing?
Colossus
But here comes Colossus with the big surprise addition. A bearded head. That makes up for the costume choice for me. Don’t ask me why, I still thinks it’s gaudy as all hell but the additional head separates it a little from the classic look for me.
And then finally, Warlock.
Looking damn fine, Warlock. You get on with your bad self.
