Comicave Studios: Iron Man and Transformers Updates

Comicave Studios Omni Class Iron Man Mark 42 Sofa Featured

Comicave has been busy, updating things we knew about and sneaking items onto their website. 1:22 Scale Transformers and new 1:12 scale Iron Man toys!

The 1:22 scale Optimus Prime boasts light-up eyes and a full articulation scheme. Standing fifteen inches tall and containing 50% diecast parts, this is going to be a monther. We’ve known about this one for a while but Comicave has posted updated pics with more paint apps and parts.

I don’t know if they have officially announced 1:22 scale Bumblebee yet, but it’s new to me so I’m throwing him in here. Standing 9.8 inches with diecast parts and LEDs in both the eyes and chest, Bee looks to be a good companion piece to Prime.

Like Bumblebee, I hadn’t noticed the 1:12 scale Iron Man MK25 Striker before, so again I’m just throwing it out there. I dig this one because of the raw metal finish but it really makes me want a MK1. 75% die-cast metal, fully articulated with interchangeable accessories, and LED light features in the eyes and chest.

Finally, and for some reason I’m so excited about this one that I made it the header image, the Iron Man MK42 sofa accessory. Comicave says the sofa and MK42 will be packed together, available in July, and first seen at San Diego Comic Con. I don’t know if that means it will be able to be purchased at SDCC or just seen, but I’ll be hitting that booth to make sure. The sofa is 1:12 scale and made of faux suede leather.
