If the figma Iron Mark Mark VII was any indication to how awesome the Mark 42 and 43 will be, well, hold to your hats, movie figure fans.
I don’t actually have the Mark 7. Yet. At the time that it came out I hadn’t fallen down the import figure rabbit hole yet. But now that I’m hip deep in figures from overseas I now want to go back and grab it to finish off my Avengers display based on the first movie. Because according to Pabs, it’s a fantastic figure that fits in scale with ML perfectly. Which is more than I can say for most ML Iron Mans.
Now here’s the figures that make me want to buy a 1.5 year old figure I had forgotten about. First, Iron Man Mark 42 from Iron Man 3.
Translated with Google:

I wasn’t crazy about the colors when they first debuted but I grew tolerant of them. Not my favorite but I don’t really hate them.
But a color change and you get Iron Man Mark 43 from Avengers: Age of Ultron.

There’s the colors I know and love!
And now the bad news. It looks like Mark 43 is a Good Smile Company shop exclusive, which I have no experience with so I don’t know how hard they are to acquire. I’m not even sure they ship internationally. But I’m going to find out, even though these sell to the tune of $80. Looking around, the Mark VII runs about the same. Why you gotta be so expensive, Stark? Mark 42 will be available through the usual sellers. The pre-orders are open now through May 25th with an expected ship date of December.
