NECA had a ton of nice looking figures on display as usual with some really interesting 1/4 scale figures, to some fully accessorized “ultimate” versions of classic characters.
The detail and likenesses on these quarter scale figures is shockingly good. The Hulk is truly monstrous and the Penguin looks as fowl (heh) as he ever has. I envy the collector with space to display the NECA 1/4 scale Avengers team they are building.
We’ve seen the Heroes of the Storm figures before, but I enjoyed getting an up close look at the articulation and the amazingly gross sculpt on the deluxe figure “Stitches”. The patchwork Frankenstein look is pretty disturbing.
The Alien franchise figures are also looking great and I’m really happy to see the Ripley from Aliens. It’s such an Iconic look and character and they capture it perfectly. The Powerloader is pretty astounding as well. I think these give the larger premium format figures a real run for the money.
The Terminator films get some nice NECA treatment as well with superb sculpts on “grandpa” terminator from Genysis and Ultimate, well accessorized versions of the T2 T-800,T-1000 and a long overdue Sarah Conner figure. They all look poseable and ready for action. I have to hand it to NECA for their diorama displays as well. They consistently bring fun backdrops for their figures.
There will also be new additions to the popular 8-bit game tribute figures including a re-release of the hard to find Jason. This one looks to include an additional accessory.
Looks like another great year for NECA fans.
