Hong Kong eBay does it again, revealing a definite new release in the 1:12 scale Star Wars Black Series line, and what may be a possible reveal.
We knew Hasbro would definitely release a Star Wars EP VII The Force Awakens Stormtrooper, but to see it in all it’s plastic glory is awesome. The figure looks to have all the standard Black Series articulation and honestly, I can’t wait for it. The source of the pics is from eBay user viperskingdom, who seems to get a lot of early factory figures. He currently has an auction running for this guy but I see that he was selling them for a BIN last night. Curse my need to sleep!
Looking through other auctions I ran across a Jawa two pack that seems to be in the 1:12 scale range. “Seems to be” being the operative words here. I’m not saying they are but the description says the figures are 3.75 inch scale, but states they 3.5 inch and 3 inch tall. Now, the Black Series R2 is 3.25 inches tall, Yoda slightly shorter than that. This auction for a 3.75 scale Clone Wars Jawa says that figure is 2 inches tall. That’s quite a size difference. I’m also remembering a report from Toy Fair from VeeBee saying the Jawas off to the side of the display looked large compared to the other 3 and 3/4 figures, although the rep insisted they were 3.75. So again, I’m not saying that these Jawas are actually 6-inch Black Series figures but the size may be fudgeable.
