Hasbro published the latest round of Generations pictures for the upcoming Combiner Wars figures. The first wave will feature a new Optimus Prime, Superion Combiner and looks to be Bruticus. We got to see the combined versions of these at SDCC 2014 earlier this year. It’s great to see the press pics.
I’m on the fence with this Optimus Prime. Part of me really wants to like it, and yet is seems really big and bulky. I still like the look of ToyWorld’s Orion, it’s the skinny biceps, chest and red abdomen that work it for me. Hasbro’s new Prime has some serious bulk on those biceps, and the more I look at the chest and abdomen I am dubious of the look. He seems to narrow at the waist too much making the upper body look insanely wide, which it isn’t.
