It’s Sunday again. I don’t know about your area, but here it’s pretty dreary. Nearly freezing, gray, trying to snow or sleet. Like I need a weather excuse to cruise eBay for customs. It could be perfect outside and I’d still be at the computer.
Today I’m all over the place. No theme, just a bunch of customs from different properties that jumped out at me.
Like this X-Force Deadpool and Deathlok pair. Separate auction but they are meant to go together. The gray is just so smooth and uniform. I can’t help liking it.
Here’s a simple 200X He-Man MOTUC style custom, but you know what? It works.
Although this pose is a bit weird.
I’ve been meaning to pick up some extra Prototype Boba Fetts to paint up into different versions, so these two caught my eye.

Here’s a Marvel Now Guardians of the Galaxy Gamora that is a little rough but the concept is solid. I’d also like to see more of that Drax.
TMNT Shedder from Wraarl? Brilliant.
We’ve seen a few Clayfaces in figure form but this one looks like it took so much work I couldn’t pass it up.
Another third party item, this Jedi cloak for 1:12 Black Series ROTJ Luke Skywalker looks perfect.
I kinda panned the Playmates Mirage style Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures in my video review but I’ll be damned if a heavy blackwash doesn’t make me like them more.
X-Force/X-Statix was very near and dear to me so this Zeitgeist gives me the happys. Yeah, it’s a DCUC base and much more muscular than the comic was drawn but it’s just a fun looking custom. I even like the blackwash over light colors whereas I usually don’t. There’s just something about this custom.
Finally, MOTUC style Earthworm Jim. Just because it’s awesome.
