To follow up on my post showing how to switch the masks on the TMNT Classics 1990 Movie figures, I thought I’d throw up a video showing my quick and dirty fix for Leonardo’s wide eyed look that doesn’t really fit with the other three Turtles. And that’s just my opinion, not the consensus of the toy collecting community at large. I wanted a look that would fit better as four figures just standing on the shelf as a group, a generic look that captures Leo’s personality in general a little better, not a snapshot of one second of a scene from the movie.
Anyway, all you need is an extra Raphael to donate his mask and the top of his skull, a few paints, and some Testors Dullcote. The rest is explained in the video. Ignore the back of my hand, that thing is a total diva, always wanting to be the center of attention.
