Hasbro- X-Men Marvel Legends Infinite Jubilee

Xmen Legends Infinite Jubilee Featured

Jubilee. The culmination of a wave that has caused more than a few Fwooshers to lose their minds. TRU canceling orders. Online retailers canceling orders. Storm. Oh, Storm. But Jubilee is totally worth the trouble to build. Right?

Okay guys, seriously. I never really wanted a Jubilee. She was way low on my want list. I mean, below Xemnu, and I’m not even into obscure Hulk villains. It’s not that I hate her. I just never felt the need to own her in plastic form. But now that I have her, even in a costume that I’m unfamiliar with, I’m happy. Sure, she’s not groundbreaking or anything, but she looks good. The sunglasses and yellow trenchcoat are a nice callback to the Outback/Jim Lee eras. I’m fine with this Jubilee on the shelf.

As for articulation, check out my video review for a breakdown.

Basically she is Spider-Girl with a new upper torso, head, and arms. The hands are reused. But this is a good choice for reuse. The head is a nice sculpt that is unmistakably Jubilee.

Paint is limited to the head. The rest of the figure is black and yellow. But, the paint on the head is really clean and even. I’m used to odd looking eyes or eyebrows but she doesn’t suffer at all in this area. The sunglasses are a nice metallic purple/violet that makes them stand out nicely.

When compared to other figures her size is definitely appropriate. Even though I would assume she’s in her mid-20s in this costume she’ll always be that teenage girl we knew back in the early 90s, so it may be a trade-off but it seems natural.

So yeah, if you’ve braved the Toys R Us toy aisle or had your order completed, my hat is off to you. If you haven’t completed her then know that she is worth it. If nothing else than to add another X-Man to the shelf. Now where is my late 80s Dazzler?
