Amazon Japan has updated their listings for both Transformers Masterpiece MP-21 Bumblebee and MP-22 Ultra Magnus. The new pictures show off colors, poses, and accessories, and makes it hard for me to have to wait so long for these to come out. I need them now. Right now. Are they out yet? No? Gaaah!
MP-22 Ultra Magnus
I have to say, he looks even better with paint slapped on him. The prototype pictures made him look thick and the backpiece looked distracting, hanging down in the back below his waist. But when I first saw these pictures I didn’t even notice it until I looked for it.
For accessories he come with both Spike and Daniel, his gun and shoulder missiles, an alternate face that screams “Open, damn it, open!” and…an alternate set of hands? Or maybe his hand just come off in vehicle mode and they are shown separately.
There are also scale shots alongside MP-10 Convoy. Yeah, Magnus looks a bit large but I’m completely fine with that.
MP-21 Bumblebee
I don’t know why but that Autobot logo on the foot still bugs me. And why does the one on the roof/chest disappear? Either way, loving the Bee and while a couple of things look off I can’t see myself finding a better version.
Bumblebee comes with his pistol and Daniel in exo-suit that transforms.
And also another scale comparison with MP10 Optimus Prime.
Believe me, I had the same thought as you just did. “He looks so small!” But then I started thinking about it at the same time Benty did and he posted this image to the forums.
