Well, it looks like the big news for today is “Hey, that stuff you’ve been looking for? We’re offering it again in a different assortment!” Which can be good and bad. Good for the people like me who have not been able to find a Star Wars Black Stormtrooper. Bad for people like me who have found a Cap Legends Infinite Black Widow and is ready for new figures to come down the pipe! But I can’t complain too much, I hope we all get our fill of Stormtroopers and Widows. But how am I going to get an army of Clonetroopers now? I’ll have more Boba Fetts than any of the army builders…
Word spread like wildfire today that the new assortment for Star Wars Black 6 inch Series 4 is now packed with two re-releases: Boba Fett and the Stormtrooper.
Not bad, Fett is a hard to find figure and the trooper is a hot army builder. We were told back at Toy Fair that Chewbacca was going to be in this assortment but he’s been pushed back. Poor Chewie. Killed by a moon and now MIA with his first six inch representation. Wookiee can’t catch a break!
You can order the whole assortment or just the two new figures as a set on BigBadToyStore.
Same sort of news for Captain America Legends Series 2. There is going to be a revision case with 2 each of Black Widow, Stealth Suit Cap, Winter Soldier, and NOW Cap.
Again, great news for those who haven’t been able to find Widow.
BigBadToyStore has a set of 1 each available for preorder.
Speaking of Captain America, Diamond Select posted a video featuring a quick look at their Marvel Select Captain America and Falcon.
I’m definitely getting both, especially since this looks like the only way to get a movie Falcon in a scale between 4 inch and Hot Toys. I need a Falcon.

Mazinger Z (マジンガーZ), known briefly as Tranzor Z in the United States, is a Japanese super robot manga series written and illustrated by Go Nagai(永井豪). The first manga version was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from October 1972 to August 1973, and it later continued in Kodansha TV Magazine from October 1973 to September 1974. It was adapted into an anime television series which aired on Fuji TV from December 1972 to September 1974.
We been working for a lot of time on this project, which is done in collaboration with Go Nagai himself and really proud all of that!
I was found some production sketches over at Tag Hobby too.
Here’s a tease of TakaraTomy’s Transformers Masterpiece Star Saber.
Not really my cup of tea, I’m strictly a G1 kinda guy, but I do love me some nice looking transforming robot. I’m on the fence here.
And then there’s this…
This is more up my alley! Third party company X-Transbots is doing their own version of Wheelie. I mean, MM-IV Ollie. And I’m going to have to bite. New obsessions are hard on the wallet.
Happy Hour’s over!
