Another Sunday, another day of cruising eBay. Some nice odds and ends though to bulk up the ol’ collection. Or random custom bits to fill the fodder bin. In the end it’s just money, right? Sadly, yes, that’s right. Poor money, I barely knew ye.
Looks like someone hit the Playmates factory because I’m starting to see more and more Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figures popping up out of Hong Kong. Not a bad thing if you’re looking or can’t find some toys you’ve been wanting. Like 8 packs of Mousers.
You can get a set of all light gray or a set of half gray/half silver for about the price of retail, without tax.
Or how about baby Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in training, four for the price of two?
These aren’t Playmates, but the knock off NECA Turtles are still flowing out of China. You can pick up a full set of four with red bandannas for a great price.
Or the cartoon color inspired colors are still available but it looks like stock is running low.
Another item out of Hong Kong that is a bit more unique is this awesome custom 1/6 scale Dead End Batman.
Shifting quickly over to Masters of the Universe Classics, this custom Filmation Mer-Man head looks fantastic! I just wish the pictures were better to give a better idea of what I’d be getting.
Need a cheap Marvel Legends Avengers Hulk?
These custom 10 inch Marvel Universe figures from the 90s caught my eye and automatically reminded me of the olden days of walking into KB toys and just wandering around, stopping and staring at things that I didn’t even collect. Which was only Star Wars at the time, but the Universe figures always brought a grin to my face.

I ran across this custom Marvel Universe Typhoid Mary and it reminded me of how much I need one in six inch scale. I even like the updated modern type look. Really, dreads and the face paint and I’d be good.

But finally, there’s the auction that inspired me to go digging for all these off the wall Deadpool custom. The auction that scrolled through my feed and made me stop everything else I was doing. Which was just scrolling through my eBay feed, but it made me stop doing that. Yup, mermaid Deadpool will stop you in your tracks.

My “prototype” search feed sprung this gem on me. Is it weird that I would have no problem displaying a full scale bust of someone like Batman, Captain America, or Hulk, but a jar that looks like Clint Eastwood makes me giggle? I’d totally buy that Lee Van Cleef though.
