Morning Rush – I Got Nothing, How About Some Boobs?

Yeah I got nothing in the Morning Rush today, the excitement over the weekend’s Wonderfest in Japan is wearing off and while I still find some nuggets of Figma love from Wonderfest there isn’t much more to report. I need to buddy up with someone from Figma and ask a bunch of questions. Yesterday Robokillah published some Lost Planet love from Wonderfest and other nuggets. On the Pre-Toy Fair front, things are still quiet. I was looking at stats from last year and we were off the charts, must have been some Masters of the Universe Classics loving going on at the time. Until further notice look at this pic that showed up in my Facebook Feed from CAC Photography (link NSFW):

Just a couple of notes that I missed yesterday from Wonderfest. I was asked to post pics of Samus and Link, there are no pictures that I could find only “art work”, I scoured Facebook and Google and found some pics. Again these are pics by someone else (please feel free to contact me for credit). Below are are the pics of Samus and Link and some other Nintendo license I know nothing about.

Guyver was shown. It’s Guyver 1, Shō Fukamachi and I am super excited about this figure. Guyver: Out of Control is one of my favorite OVA animes of all time. This came out in 1986 during that period of time when I was very young and easily impressed by things like anime, ultra violence and space armor/fantasy themes. I can’t wait to get my hands on this figure and I hope that make Guyver 2 and 3 as well as the beasts. If they make fully poseable beasts I’ll crap myself.

Finally HIYA Toys are releasing a line of 4 inch Alien figures and maybe Colonial Marines. For all you 4 inch lovers this is perfect for ya’ll especially if you missed out on Takara Tomy’s Microman Aliens and Predators from a few years back. BigBadToyStore has them on pre-order for 19.99, a price that might seem steep for a number of collectors. But compared to the $50-$70 you pay for six inch S.H. Figuarts it ain’t so bad, but yeah, not cheap. Oh and my review of the Drone Alien from S.H. Figuarts AvP line is scheduled for this week. I need to get some pics taken tonight and some words written, same with Wolverine Legends Emma Frost.

This also popped up into my Facebook feed this morning. As many you of know, or might not know, I love a certain game called Dark Souls and I’ve started writing about it on thecoinslot.com. Next month, on the 11th or there abouts, the next installment from Bandai Namco and From Software will be released, Dark Souls 2. This morning they let out a little secret about how the knights of the Dark Souls universe really truck around the world, I knew it!

That’s it for now. We are gearing up for Toy Fair and I am looking forward to the show this year. We have some fantastic times set up with a number of companies and I think we’ll be filled to the rim with information. I expect Hagop and VeeBee to be on overload after the first day’s reporting.

(Prodigy this one’s dedicated to you)
