Some of you who read our designer profile on Kunio Okawara will be happy to know that toy and model company Max Factory in Japan released a 1/72 version of the classic Dougram giant robot. This might be the first plastic model that I’ve picked up since … I can’t remember the last plastic model that I built. Dougram is one of those classic bots from my childhood ,and during the Robotech invasion of the ’80s, this was one of the models that you could readily find in toy stores, specifically that one in Central Park Mall in San Antonio … what was it called?
Luckily there is still some love for these classic designs. Now if someone would make a 1/12 version…
