Fwoosh Happy Hour- Marvel Select Superior Spider-Man, X-men Boxset, and NECA POTA!

It’s Happy Hour, but I ain’t happy! I’ve been fighting with hosting providers and Fwoosh itself to get things back up and running. Or at least get it to stay up long enough to do anything. But it looks like we’re up again. Not 100% but it seems to be passable for the moment. I’m still working on it. So in the meantime, it’s Happy Hour!

The Disney Store and Marvel Store surprised everyone by offering up the Marvel Select Super Spider-Man today!

Nifty! I’ve seen some people worried about the hips, but otherwise he looks great! I can understand that work started on this when Spidey-Ock first entered the scene so getting the first costume is understandable. Plus it’s nice to have since we already have the more current costume from Hasbro. This one made it through with the toe claws too.

But that base! That base is awesome. What I wouldn’t do for action figures of that version of the Sinister Six. Especially Speed Demon.

He’s available on both the Disney Store and the Marvel Store for $24.95, and if you read this fast enough use FREESHIP to get free shipping!

Not to be outdone, Toys R Us put the Marvel Legends All New X-men Boxset up for preorder!

Packaging

For the price of..$119? C’mon TRU, there’s no need to be so mean. That’s $24 per figure, which I guess is their regular price, but picking up the Cap and Spidey Legends waves for $15 already has me spoiled. I’m going to wait it out and see what they end up being in store. The expected ship date is 3/19/14 so that gives me a while to ponder how bad I actually need this set.

You can check out the preorder page on the TRU site.

NECA is teasing classic Planet of the Apes on their Facebook page!

NECA Planet of the ApesCan’t wait! Well, going to have to wait until summer at least, but I don’t wanna!

And just because, here’s a bigger picture of The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon with motorcycle.

daryl-dixon-with-chopper-the-walking-dead-tv-series-deluxe-box-set-mcfarlane-25Remus is dreamy.

And then there’s this…

Dane DeHaan Skywalker

Welcome to the Fwoosh grass roots campaign to get Dane DeHaan into the next Star Wars movie as a Skywalker offspring! Look him up. Better yet, just look at the picture. If one didn’t know better one would think he was actually Mark Hamill’s son!

Happy Hour’s over, back to work!
