April 30th 2002 fwooshnet.com was launched. A place to share news about toys, to be part of a community, to share in each other’s lives. A lot changed, even our name, and we can expect more change in the future.

I had a big long hulabaloo typed out and just deleted it. Ten years because of you. Ten years because another members of another community asked me to start the fwoosh. Ten years of the thousands of members and visitors that come here day in day out, hourly, obsessively.
10 years of trial and error. 10 years of toys, comics, movies, games, sports, soapboxing, and bar hopping. 10 years of passionately debating toys. 10 years of changes to the fwoosh, the look, the forums, the staff. 10 years of hacking the site together.
10 years of the greatest staff, former members, current members and future members.
Here’s to another 10 and more greatness.
