This week’s feature custom is Ray’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle set:
I love this group in their original toy colors. The letter belts and the re-sculpted biceps really go a long way toward making the artwork specific turtles work more as the original toys re-done for the modern age. The bicep additions are so smooth, I couldn’t really tell what had been changed until I read the description. I think those changes helps these figures stand out among other NECA turtle repaints.
Another amazing standout feature is the accessory set. I love that Ray has referenced the cartoon, the toyline and even the old Turtles video game to come up with these.
