This week’s featured custom is Gulf Racer’s Star Spangled Kid.
I’m a huge DCUC fan, but I did not love the recent Kid Flash figure. There was something off about the proportions on kid flash, so I wouldn’t think to use it as custom fodder. It turns out to be a great base for the Star Spangled Kid, though. That’s a big part of why I like this custom. I love to see guys take fodder that I had written off and make something beautiful out of it. It doesn’t hurt that his sculpting and paint work is nearly flawless and the star decals look really sharp and professional. Check out more of Gulf Racer’s customs here:
