This week’s featured custom is Calbretto’s Warehouse Diorama:
The toy companies have been kicking major butt lately in the realm of superarticulated action-figures. But where do you stage your titanic throwdowns between good and evil? One thing the big toy companies don’t seem to make anymore are the playsets. That’s where Diorama builders like Calbretto here come in. I love the layout and all the little details crammed into this place.
I love the little signs on the doors for no-smoking etc. The scratchbuilt beams and girders and palletts have a great real-world feel to them. The weathering paint details do a great job dirtying the whole thing up. Check out more pics of this great set-up at Calbretto’s thread here:
