This week’s featured custom is Helix’s Tool Diorama:
Back before MTV became the 24/7 Tila Tequila channel, they used to show these things called music videos. Helix has done a really impressive job creating a miniature version of the setting and one of the charaters from a video for a song by Tool. There is a lot of detail in the floorboards, pipes and wall textures as well as some cool grimy weathering techniques on display here. I especially like the sculpts on the main character and the wall creature. They are great likenessess and perfectly creepy. See more pics of Helix’s Dioramas here:
