Here are a few updates:

1) We wanted to say a big Thank you to all those who entered our web contest to name our new mascot. The people have decided to name the little fella "Kick" with the posts we ran in many forums online. Congrats goes out to Alexandre Lequin who is the person who sent in the entry. We received so many replies so again, thanks to all, we really enjoyed reading your e-mails especially those who took the time to writr a background story for the character. Stay Tuned for a new contest coming up soon, visit our main page frequently for a chance to win Gift certificates or really cool swag!

2) A little reminder to Edmonton Collectors, you don’t wanna miss The Edmonton Collectible Toy and Comic Show happening this weekend. Our good friend and organizer of the show Shane Turgeon of www.tattoosandtoys.com has sent in all the infos you need about the show. Here they are:

About the Show:

The Edmonton Collectible Toy and Comic Show is a one-day, annual event that caters specifically to Edmonton’s large toy and comic book community. Organized by Shane Turgeon, the show is now in its fourth annual year and it continues to grow in both size and popularity. The show has expanded this year to fill two full banquet halls at the Mayfield Inn and there will be over 100 vendor tables where a variety of vintage and modern collectible toys including, but not limited to, Star Wars, Hot Wheels, GI Joe, Transformers, McFarlane, as well as silver, bronze and modern age comic books will be sold. Also in attendance will be the local Badlands division of the 501^stLegion – a worldwide group of Star Wars costumers (www.badlands.ca) – and Edmontooine, Edmonton’s Official Star Wars FanForce chapter (www.edmontooine.com).
