Okay, “all new” may not be true. It looks to me there is some reuse here, but it’s appropriate reuse. It’s the same dude we’ve gotten twice already, at least in his younger appearance. There’s a whole whopping one in his old look, but at this point I’ve committed to this damn train of thought and it’s 7:30 in the morning. Don’t complain. Just go with it.
Obi-Wan has the lit and unlit lightsabers, but what stands out to me here is the face. The eyes look a little more defined, but slightly…exaggerated? Don’t get me wrong, they look great, but a little different than the aforementioned previous Kenobis.
When we get up close, you can see the printing. That’s standard SHF fare though. Not meant to be macro’d.
I’m not loving the Force face, but I can appreciate how good the teeth look. I know that sounds weird. It’s like eating an okay meal but loving the mashed potatoes. You don’t hate the overall experience, in fact it’s satisfying. But a second helping of them tators, please.
The Three Stooges hand reappears here, and if I remember right, it’s actually appropriate this time around. It was EPIII he did this right? I swear I’m a fan of Star Wars and won’t accidentally call it Revenge of the Jedi ever again.
