  1. Y’know, I’d have made an effort to get that Rex if he was built on that new clone buck, but since I got the recent reissue on preorder, I’m just gonna stick with that one since… well, the original Rex sold for like, $20 bucks? Even with the markup I can’t see how a slightly different paint deco and a poncho makes this Rex worth the same amount of cash as a brand-new-mold Boba Fett with a pile of extra accessories and effects pieces.

Hell, I’ll build my own. I’ll take the reissued Rex and cobble him together with one of those new clones and build a Bad Batch version myself. I’d give it a month before we see custom soft goods makers making Rex’s poncho.

  2. I had no luck with Rex, let me know if you’d like to do a trade for something! 🙂

  3. I preordered mine, got 2 rexs’ and one crosshair to use as trade bait. BTW Cpt Rex was cheaper than $31 and some changes. So the above prices were off and crosshairs was $24.99. I called Walgreens Corp to see what’s ups with their site. I haven’t been able to preorder anything since I can remember

  4. From the sound of it, that’s a general price increase across the line. So stupid when marvel legends gets BAF too! Must be the expensive license.

  5. That 212th clone gives me life!

But in all seriousness, can’t wait to grab a squad of them.

  6. Probably in the minority here, but I really wish that 212th Trooper had been an archive release with the proper weathering and the ROTS style helmet. It just looks far too clean, especially compared to Cody, as well as the re-released 501st Troopers! At least Hasbro seem to have realised that clones sell, hopefully we’ll see more at some point.

  7. Why the heck is Rex $31.49? He comes with fewer blasters than before and he’s not even accurate to his appearance in the show! I’m skipping that one on principle

  8. Yeah, Rex’s pricing is trash. I don’t even get why Crosshair is $26.49. Unless he’s an exclusive, and even then, that’s a ridiculous price markup.

  9. Hell yeah. Troopers are all I collect from this line anymore, though I don’t need or want this version of Rex. Republic Commandos soon, please?
