Whew, December is always such a frantic time around the Fwoosh offices, so it can be hard to stay steady and consistent when it comes to getting new content out. However, when a new Marvel Legends series hits sooner than expected, we get on the stick.
Yeah, the Fantastic Four series snuck out in limited quantities last week-ish, but I think we were tipped off about that. However, I was pretty surprised when I got the shipping email from Dorkside Toys that my new Demogoblin series was on the way, though I would NEVER complain about getting one last Marvel Legends series before the end of the year. It has been a really busy year for ML, but with every new assortment, there is certainly something to be excited about.

I never thought I would say this when celebrating “firsts” in Legends, but this assortment is a glorious ode to liver spots and nipples. Yeah, I know, but we are finally getting to retire the old Toy Biz Vulture, and Shang Chi (more on him soon) is making his long overdue debut as well. Plus: WHITE RABBIT, y’all. Toss in a couple of “gamer-verse” Spider-Man figures and you have all of the makings a solid series supporting an all-new Demogoblin.

In the interest of time, I am going to keep these to galleries, but I want to say that Vulture is so awesome, especially for some old dude, and his wings are functional but light, so there are no balancing issues whatsoever. White Rabbit is a revelation in terms of actually getting the character in Legends, but they did not phone this figure in just to get her done, she is executed very well. I am not a gamer, so I don’t really have any attachment to the Velocity Suit Spider-Man, but it really is a slick-looking figure with very functional articulation. So, while I was expecting to be all over Vulture and White Rabbit, but I am seeing this as a sleeper series, so don’t miss out.
