Mattel and io9 have revealed an SDCC exclusive Multiverse Batman 4-pack consisting of some of the Caped Crusader’s more infamous Silver Age costumes in all of their weird and wonderful glory!
The set comes in a beautiful box with Silver Age motif, perfectly featuring each suit.
The set consists of essentially the same figure in four different costumes, like classic blue and gray…

…and Rainbow Batman…
I said they all use the same body but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It has some updated articulation and works well for the Dark Knight. Either way, the actual suits and color schemes are the real winner here.
io9 is kind of confusing in explaining the specifics for purchasing. It looks like these will only be available to con-goers, but there is a pre-order June 17 on the Mattel store, guaranteeing you get the set at SDCC? They also say something about mailing out after the con, but the article also states that they had info jumbled earlier. End of the day, it’s $80 and will definitely be for sale or pick up at San Diego Comic Con.
