And here’s the promotional images for the S.H. Star Wars Figuarts Chewbacca, right on schedule after posting the other articles. But still, it’s awesome to see him in all of his super-articulated plastic glory!
Well, for all of my guessing I was completely wrong about how the swappable face part work. It’s the whole front of the head. And hey, that works for me. Less noticeable seams, especially right in the middle of the face.
Besides the interchangeable faces, the only other accessory is the bowcaster.
And while we’ve seen this pic before and it didn’t give us a good idea of Chewy’s actual height…
…this new pic does. And it’s not as great as I was hoping it would be, but Chewbacca being taller than Han still works out for the most part.
The listed height is 6.69 inches. It kind of looks like Han is slightly in the foreground in the above pic so that may be skewing proportions a bit but it still seems a little short. It’s not going to stop me from ordering though. Need Buddy Chewbacca. Badly.
MSRP is 6480 yen with a release date of April. Solicitation begin December 1.
