Ant-Man (Ultron) and Spider-Man (Rhino) Marvel Legends Hi-Res Promo Pics

Hasbro Ant-Man Legends Infinite Series Promo Final Bulldozer Featured

Hasbro sent out promotional image of the upcoming Spider-Man Legends Rhino Series and the Ant-Man Legends Ultron Series, giving us a closer look at what we can expect when they hit our shelves.

The paint apps are of course scaled back from the prototype stage, but we’ve all been doing this thang long enough to expect this. I really, really dig the darker gray on Bulldozer’s helmet and harness, and he finishes off our Wrecking Crew. Finally! Grim Reaper’s light eyes makes me think he’s a zombie. He was a zombie at one point wasn’t he? I worry a bit about Giant-Man’s antennas. The Ant-Man logo on the packages just pops too.

Most of all, the packages shots give us a good idea of Grim Reaper’s size. As we all know, he’s supposed to be a new base body, falling somewhere in between the Bucky Cap body and the Sentry base in both height and bulk. And it looks like it’s mission accomplished for Hasbro. You can see that the same amount of leg is hidden in the package for Reaper and Giant-Man, but Reaper’s head is higher in the package. Not a lot, but enough.

Flipside, you can definitely tell that Reaper is smaller than Tigershark.

We won’t know for certain until we have them in-hand, but I’m a little more reassured now. A little.

Then there is the Spider-Man Legends Rhino series. Kraven takes the biggest hit on paint here, but only because the proto was freakin’ amazing. I’m loving Ghost Rider more and more. Venom’s head seems to have perma-fuzz. Misty is perfect and Chameleon’s package is packed with goodies.

I know the Marvel Legends pics and news have been hitting fast and furious this week, but that only reaffirms that we are in another golden age of super-articulated Marvel figures. Man, my shelves runneth over.

As always, you can pre-order these waves at BigBadToyStore, Entertainment Earth, and DorkSide Toys. And of course, as always, Amazon.

  1. hope the tenticles are removable on venom other wise he could cause some shelf diving bumping another figure with them.

  2. nice about time chameleon got some plastic love plus given he and kraven are half brothers hasbro . it was perfect of hasbro to pack them in the same wave.and grim reaper looks really creepy with that smile.

  3. Well, well, well. Here we are, upon the eve of my greatest day. Soon we will be together my Aleksei. Already got two full sets on preorder and a single Wasp. The rest I will decide about in person.

  4. Looks just like feet, head, and back tentacles are new. The rest looks just like Spider-Man 2099.
