Bossk! It was a pretty Bossk-tastic day at the Hasbro panel with the reveal of a Black Series 6 inch Bossk and a new 4 inch version. The panel had a lot of information about Star Wars Rebels and the creation of the new figures. They also talked up a new line of army-men like figures in the Star Wars Universe and revealed new basic figures, vehicles and Black Series figures. One panel tidbit revealed was that they plan to make the Emporer Palpatine figure with a completely soft-goods robe.

Army Men
Basic Figures
They had some mission series figures from Rebels that feature a Rebel and a Stormtrooper. They also had a wookie two-pack! The army builder in me loves this. They also had some more low-articulation figures from the classic movies, including a new Bossk!
Black Series 4 inch
Black Series Clone Commander,Tie Pilot and Han as Stormtrooper. The Han Trooper has a nice collar piece so that he matches the neck look in the film better while still re-using the Black Series Stormtrooper body. The helmet is designed to fit over Han’s head. The pilot looks very nice and so does the clone trooper, but I’m not sure I really need a clone repaint so soon on the heels of the original clone. I suppose this kind of easy repaint will help keep this line going.
They also showed off an amazing new Target exclusive two pack of Black Hole troopers, a Biker Scout and a Sand Trooper. These guys looked slick with a nice combination of gloss and flat black paint.
Black Series Bossk! Bossk has been near the top of my Black Series wishlist since the line began, so this is a big one for me. Bossk was one of my favorite figures to play with as a kid. On the panel they talked up his articulated jaw quite a bit. It looks good on the proto, so I have hope that it will work without compromising the look too much.
Han and Luke will come with Tauntaun and Wampa respectively and look great. I love how Han has a bit of a smirk to his face and is wearing a blue coat. Blue! They did say at the panel that you couldn’t put Luke in the Tauntaun, but he does appear to have a sliced belly in these pics. The Wampa will have a removable arm and looks to be fully articulated. I love that bloody deco. So gross. In a good way. They mentioned the Tauntaun is not as fully articulated as some other Black Series items for stability’s sake.
