Re: Andor- Disney + Series
I can't imagine they'd neglect to show K-2SO on the show, comic or not. I sort of wonder if B2-EMO will turn out to be K2, which would make his death scene even more tragic.

Re: Andor- Disney + Series
Tony Gilroy, the showrunner, said meeting K-2SO is "one of the responsibilities" for season 2. "Obviously, if we're going to walk into Rogue, we have to deal with that."

Re: Andor- Disney + Series
My girlfriend has never seen any Star Wars, and I think I'll wait until this show is complete and start with Andor.
It's a great jumping on point. It sets up the stakes so well, and makes it clear why the Empire is bad, better than any other media.
Then it leads into rogue one, and now with more development for Cassian, making it more impactful.
A great intro for Vader and the Death star as well. And the force slowly creeps in with small references.
By the time you get to A New Hope, everything is built up more. The finale having a much greater impact.

It's a good idea, but you won't be able to watch Star Wars with her for another several years, depending on how many seasons they end up doing.Andron X wrote:My girlfriend has never seen any Star Wars, and I think I'll wait until this show is complete and start with Andor.

Re: Andor- Disney + Series
From what I hear there's supposed to be one more season.
I am in no hurry. She hasn't seen anything and she doesn't like to watch films as often as me. It's taken 9 months to get through 4 MCU films, so I have lots of stuff to pad out the time with.

She can watch as the franchise gradually gets worse and worse, culminating in The Rise of Skywalker.

One of my best friends just showed his wife the saga for the first time and she's in her forties.
