Got Python Patrol Viper today from Target. Love it! The Python Patrol version of the Viper was the my first Viper figure as a kid, so this is my Viper. This is a really fun recreation of that old figure. I love this color scheme. Joint tolerances are excellent—no shock oil needed on the hips.

Python Patrol BAT matches the Viper nicely. I did need to treat the BAT’s hips with shock oil. Otherwise, the BAT is great as always.

Looking forward to getting more Python Patrol! Hope Hasbro makes the full original team!

G.I. Joe Classified Tiger Force & Python Patrol - Target Exclusive

Got Outback, too. He’s awesome. Love the face sculpt. But those hips! Stuck with severe stress marks from just my gentle initial test of the joints. He needed shock oil again. Super frustrating aspect of this line.

Edit: Once I managed to get the hips working, Outback is really great. Love the grizzled expression, all the gear, and the fluid poseability. Outback has a ton of personality.

Found an endcap today with Outback, Viper and BAT. I take it Recondo, Bazooka, and Officer aren't out yet? Duke? Better get moving Target, it's coming up on December.

Oh man, I lost the magazine for Outback's gun. Anyone doing 3D prints of it by chance?

I did notice Outback’s gun magazine comes out too easily. Am scared I’ll also lose it, so I’ll likely just glue it in. Doubt I’d ever want to pull it out.

A few pictures of these guys:
Spoiler! :

Outback looks pretty cool with Viper's scarf:

The Viper collection so far:

Python Patrol outfits look like hockey jerseys lmao:

Overall a decent wave. I think if BAT came with the damaged extra parts and the paint on Viper were a little cleaner (and came with his scarf in black perhaps) I'd say they're all good or great figures. It would be nice if Viper had some maroon just to match BAT better. Outback is absolutely my #1 Hasbro fig of the year.

The Target back in stock notification ACTUALLY WORKED FOR ONCE!!

Grabbed Outback. He's phenomenal, though I should've remembered Robo's review, because one of his hip pegs is already stressed. *sigh*

Anyway, gonna call him "Kipling."

I don't pose much but is it worth the $10 to invest on shock oil?

Got Outback. It's a cool figure, and this look easily beats out the Survival shirt in the mainline. Unfortunately I missed the magazine for the bigger gun in the package and It's in the dumpster somewhere now. And mine also has a stress mark on his right hip after lubing up the ball joint. Hips move smoothly now but I still worry about it breaking.

I think the shock oil is worth it. Seems like I need it on 50% of these figures. But one application is all it needs for me.

Noted. Found the Traxxas silicone stuff on Amazon. I noticed only my Cobra Island Viper giving resistance so I've only moved it enough to notice that and left it alone. Stuff like this scares me that in 5-years I'm going to want to do a elaborate display and go cranking on a leg and snap it off. I'll then find it's going for mega bucks online!

The BAT fell off the shelf today so I looked at it and noticed stressed hips already. Havn't even moved the legs. Opened up the other one I bought and it was worse right out of the box. Both going back tomorrow. We never had a vintage PP BAT back in the 80s so it's not really part of my collecting profile anyway. Odd that they both had stressing out of the box.

Man, Pulse actually shipped me the wrong item. I ordered 2 PP Bats and 1 TF Outback. They sent 2 Outbacks and 1 Bat, This sucks. I already emailed them but I just know it's going to be some BS response of "we can't exchange, here's an item of equal value."
