I’ve been holding off on this set waiting for a sale as well. Found Warehouse deal earlier this week for like $106 but didn’t bite. I’m still thinking it might make an appearance with a discount in the next week or so.

Good thing you passed. I actually ordered and received that set at that price only to find that two of the figures were swapped out for other random figures. I immediately returned it. Anyone who is considering buying this at a discount without it being an Amazon sale, beware and be warned.

If it's the same deal I saw there was some language about the item inside the package being damaged, which gave me pause. Crazy they would try to resell that.

I purchased the Amazon Warehouse deal for $114 yesterday. I'm expecting to be someone's return. It has an estimated delivery of Thursday.

I think this set will be like the Children of Thanos set. It had an initial run that seemed to linger in preorder then sold out. That caused a false scarcity for weeks, maybe a month or two. Only third party sellers had it for a significant mark up. Then it came back in stock and the panic eased. I don’t remember if the Thanos set reached as substantial a discount as say the Alpha Flight set. If/when this Wolvie set comes back in stock (probably held up in a shipping container on the water), I’m not convinced it will reach discount prices either.

Long shot but has anyone tried using the removeable top part of Dr. Snare's coat from ancient Jurassic Park Dino Trackers line for making Mastermind?

Mastermind is the exact same recipe everyone is using but it does look really nice!

What is that recipe, exactly? It looks really good, but the only thing I had been able to come up with (and have subsequently heard others talking about) is Agent Mobius with a modified Old Man Logan coat--a plan I don't love because both coats involved are open, whereas Mastermind always keeps his closed. Yours looks great, so I'd love to hear what went into it.

Here's exactly what I used; a Loki body (Mobius hadn't come out when I started), Luis coat and DC Direct Alex Ross Scarecrow for the Inverness cape and a black twist tie for the cape strings. Hope that helps!
