Re: ML Part Swaps
i don't have pics, but inspired from someone i saw on instagram, i took the new Daredevil from the 3 pack and gave him the legs from the gi joe classified red ninja. it makes for a great resemblance of DD's look in the recent Chip Zdarsky run. For those that don't collect gi joe like myself, the gi joe crotch is rubber, so with some heat you can pop out DD's legs and slide the crotch onto the figure. I also added the wrapped hands from the black and red DD. I don't have a way to do the arm wraps, but it looks great for me.

Re: ML Part Swaps
I think GI Joe Classified has a soft underpants overlay over ABS waist and from what I've seen on youtube, the upper thigh that connects to T-bar can be softened to pop off.

Yup, this works great! Here’s a custom Wasteland Wanderers Bucky I made last night combining Legends and Joes parts.PurpleLantern wrote:I think GI Joe Classified has a soft underpants overlay over ABS waist and from what I've seen on youtube, the upper thigh that connects to T-bar can be softened to pop off.

Re: ML Part Swaps
Anyone know if Ch'od (or Abomination) parts would fit DC McFarlane Killer Croc torso?

Re: ML Part Swaps
Too much work to try and post pics on this forum, but I swapped hair pieces of Jean Grey Love Triangle and the new VHS Jean, does wonders to have the darker red on the VHS Jean, very happy with the result
Also did the Jacket swap with Morph and Cyclops VHS, jacketed Cyke looks great and having a late series Morph without the jacket is just too perfect, also did a Joseph custom as well with Oldman Hawkeye head

Re: ML Part Swaps
Could someone throw the MCU Wong head on the Ned Leeds figure? Curious how it fits.

Re: ML Part Swaps
Saw this and thought it's a really clever and effective use of parts. Still hoping Hasbro does Reyes but this would be a great substitute considering Moira and Nakia are rather easy to come by at decent prices.

Re: ML Part Swaps
Not bad at all! I have a thing about MCU heads on comic bodies but otherwise, yes. I'd probably do something similar if I didn't have a Cece currently being made by a customizer.

Re: ML Part Swaps
That does look pretty great. The glasses help obscure the eyes, which are one of the key features that make it hard to fit MCU with comic figures. Definitely trying to get Cecilia and Joseph out of these training uniform figures.

Yea kept the beard, if a better head comes along I'd update but I love the versatility of the Hawkeye head, was previously using it for an old man bucky winter soldier figJTMarsh wrote: ↑Tue Jan 31, 2023 8:01 amYou kept the beard or put the hair on a different headsculpt?LipSmack wrote: ↑Tue Jan 31, 2023 5:21 amToo much work to try and post pics on this forum, but I swapped hair pieces of Jean Grey Love Triangle and the new VHS Jean, does wonders to have the darker red on the VHS Jean, very happy with the result

Only using training suit Gambit for the new head to put on the old Gambit figure. I'll have to see how well he makes for a Joseph body beyond that.

Re: ML Part Swaps
Yes I'm hoping to get a bunch of spares and parts to do a number of customs, probably for characters that weren't even on the team, I just love the blue and yellows, forge is a bit trickier but the legs pop off easily enough
