I have seen wave 12 deluxes (or Power Punch He-Man at least) at retail.

Based on preorders online and such, I'd say there's a decent chance of a full wave 12 stock at retail (but I wouldn't pass them up at retail price online).

I'm pretty confident Whiplash and Randor will never see brick and mortar.

Me too. Except the last bit. I haven't seen anything from the Stinkor wave. And I just swung by a Walmart today and there weren't any Origins figures anywhere to be found. Nothing. And no pegs for them.

Yeah, the Whiplash Wave has been released. As well as the Wave after with the Snake Armor He-Man and the Snake Men. But that is here in the US.
How long have Rattlor, Khan, and King Hisss been out in the USA?

Maybe the Whiplash Wave is about to start hitting where you are in Canada.
I think the Whiplash wave was hitting Canadian online stores in November. I don't think it will ever show up at retail. Sucks.

OOOHHHH.........

I guess it was only a matter of time, but glad to see it may actually be happening........oh wait, sorry there is no way this can be true because Toy Guru let us know that the line is ending (at retail) in April.

Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.... :D

Snake Teela and Snake Trooper probably should have been obvious give the limited amount of retooling/new tooling needed. Still nice to have them added to the line.

I'm also intrigued by the new photos and info from Mega Jay Retro (originally from canaldosrosmineiros) about a new 7" sort of discount line for MOTU. They seem to be packaged similar to the Hasbro "Titan" figures. You know those 12" 5POA cheapos for kids. However these are 7" and seem to have a slight bit more POA and look like they could fit in with Masterverse as background figures. They also seem to be based on the original filmation/toy figures. So far they showed He-Man, Skeletor, Man-At-Arms and Merman. Possibly only available as a discount figure for foreign markets (South America, Africa, etc.), but they could show up at discount places in North America as well (maybe).

Point Dread and The Talon Fighter are my favorite playsets/vehicles after Grayskull and the Wind Raider. Once I have them, all that remains is Sy-Klone, Two-Bad, and Rokkon and Stonedar before I’ll have every vintage figure I once owned represented in Origins. I’ll likely get the Skeleton Warriors and NA He-Man and Skeletor, but that’s it.

I need Snake Mountain, Battle Ram, Point Dread w/the Talon Fighter, Battle Bones, Laser Bolt, Attak Trak, Night Stalker, Two Bad, Sy-Klone, Moss Man, Extendar, Spikor, Queen Marlena, Screeech, Rokkon, Stonedar, & Modulok. I don't need, but wouldn't say no to some Hover Bots & Plundor.

Dormammu, the Rattlor Wave started showing up here in the US in Late November/Early December (as did the Deluxe King Hiss and Thunder Punch He-Man)

As or those new rumored items, I am so glad Point Dread/Talon Fighter are coming. One of the items I definitely wanted before everything is said and done, whenever that may be.

To feel complete, I want Dread/Talon Fighter and Snake Mountain (which are both coming). And I also want the remaining 22 figures from the vintage toy line (which 4 are scheduled to be coming in Tung Lashor, Snake Face, Squeeze, and Moss Man).

I have to imagine Sy Klone and Two Bad aren't too far behind either, since they have been shown on the artwork on the back of some of the recent cardbacks.

Even though it's not near as important to me as the remaining 22, Dread/Talon Fighter, and Snake Mountain, at this point I really want to finish the original Rulers of the Sun figure lineup. We've gotten so many, and Duplico is coming. All we need is Holagrapho, Kikto, and Zap Man.

I've been fighting the urge to buy all the vehicles, but Point Dread/Talon... ka-pow, right in the nostalgia for me on that one Heck, of all the Origins stuff, that's the one I'm most likely to put on display right after Battle Cat. I loved that toy so much as a kid.

I never had Point Dread in any form except Megablocks. I hope that this Origins interpretation acts the same way as the vintage. I always loved the idea that Point Dread could be an expansion to Castle Grayskull.

I was able to watch Jay and John live for his report.

Great to hear about Point Dread/Talon Fighter and Snake Mountain. Sounds like the Talon Fighter he saw was finished, which could mean a pre-summer/early summer release. Snake Mountain sound great, and I'm impressed they were able to get it into a smaller box than Castle Grayskull. I think Jay said it was maybe 70% the size of Grayskull's box. Also sounds like they have the colour done now, and the snake is shorter like they said it would be during the reveal event last year.

For origins, I can't wait to see images. Sounds like King Randor (200X) will be pretty great. Snake Teela didn't seem to impress Jay, but I think I'll like it. Oh and it looks like the Snake Trooper is going to be a Snake Men head on the Eternian Palace Guard body, not the Horde Trooper like I originally thought. Still a great choice, and nothing to stop them from doing the same on a Horde Trooper body later. I am a little disappointed that there were no deluxes on display, hopefully we see some more down the line.

For Masterverse it sounds like a great upcoming line up. Whiplash sounds awesome, and well deserving of the deluxe price point (tail, alternate armour, etc). Ram-Man sounds a bit strange. Jay said he wasn't as bulky as we are used to, but comes with armour pieces, so I can't wait to see how that turns out. Also apparently the new Faker will be blue, and have a more pinkish armour, so more akin to the original look.

Man sounds like a lot of product to look forward to this year....AT RETAIL (Jay made a quick note of that), at least in Europe. :D

I originally thought I'd pass on an eventual Talon Fighter in this line due to the size (especially how big the Classics one turned out), but with the price point revealed and hearing that the wing span may be a little smaller than the Wind Raider, I can probably find room for it somewhere. Never had it as a kid, but always wanted it.

I'll have to see actual images of the Snake Troopers and Teela to decide if I want them. I know it's not how they were portrayed in vintage concept art, but I like the idea of the Snake Troopers being on the Royal Guard bodies better. The only thing that's weird about that is the card art for Thunder Punch He-Man clearly shows them on the Horde Trooper body. Will be interesting to see how they turn out.

Gotta say, I'm actually excited for that Duplico figure. Never thought I would be, but that mothereffer looks like one of the most 80s looking figures I've ever seen. Like some kind of Dolph Lundgren or Schwarzenegger rip-off that you would have found in a bin at Kay-Bee Toys in 1988.

As much as I love all of the "new" (i.e. non-vintage) releases they're doing for this line, I AM getting a little nervous for them to fill out the rest of the 85 wave. I need Spikor, Two Bad, Sy-Klone, Modulok and yes, even Dragon Blaster Skeletor before this lie ends. I hope we get one or two of those guys before the year is over.

I'm gonna need you to add Extendar to that list or we can't be Best Friends anymore.

Frankly, I'd prefer just regular snake men army builders than the either horde or palace guard ones
