He's a cool figure and big hunk of plastic. I don't love all of Todd's choices, but a lot of what he makes is pretty damn badass and affordable. Waiting it out 'til it's clearanced means the line could be doomed. That's why I support 80% of it early on.

Sometimes it's necessary to get the sale though given how many cool lines there are now to choose from.

That's not really Manga Spawn to me. He looks too much like 'murica Spawn in those bright red/white/blues.
He looks like he needs an American flag and fireworks accessories.

Well allow me to retract my statement and say that I did pick it up today for $12 and as I’ve stated before somewhere else,it makes for a great Mecha Spawn minus the horrible tiny head.

Once I find a suitable replacement head it will definitely be worth the $12.

I didn't like it as Manga Spawn either, especially when the tease clearly looked to be Medieval Spawn. But he's cool and has a nice arsenal. We're getting a Barends Medieval Spawn that looks dynamite so it's all good.

Todd gives us a lot and I see Spawn as an underdog so I try my best to support it. 2023 looks like the best yet honestly for Spawn's Universe.

Well most shops just got wave 4 in just prior to the holiday rush December so we should see the next wave announcement soon. Probably by the time that Toy Fair would normally occur this year

He revealed Wave 5 at NYCC and in my opinion it's the best yet. Monolith was a top want for me and Medieval looks just like some cover art. Sinn is a nice new design, cool figure. I expect March-ish for them.

Kinda doubtful on Batman/Spawn being much of anything. They make an announcement....then nothing. That comic came and went over a month ago.

I honestly wouldn’t be all that surprised if the Batman included in the Spawn/Batman set is just a slightly reconfigured Hush Batman with a new symbol and headsculpt and belt. And spawn will probably just be the throne spawn with further revisions to make it more Capullo based as well.

I would prefer not making the set if that's all it's gonna be. It should be new for being so significant to them.

I was big on the old spawn figures and the movie when I was a kid but I didn’t pick anything up from this line until just a few days ago when I grabbed commando spawn from Amazon.
That’s all it took to pull me in
Picked up clown shortly after and now I have redeemer and violator on their way.

I’m hoping that we get gravedigger in this line at some point.

I would love that. Wave 5 hits my main modern wants except we need Disruptor still. I just love the artwork brought to 3D and hope they keep it going for a long time. Would be great to see him, GateKeeper, Tremor, Freak and the original designs for Overtkill, Violator and Medieval Spawn show up.

Oh man The Freak would be awesome!

Got violator today and MAN he’s incredible.
I knew he was big but I was shocked by how hefty he is. That’s a seriously beautiful hunk of plastic.
I definitely love the original lanky design for violator but this one !@#$ rules.

Yeah this new violator is like the gnarliest looking bowling ball to ever grow arms, legs and a hellish looking set of teeth.

I am sure he has his reasons, but after resounding success of the classic Spawn Kickstarter, a follow up of some sort can reasonably be expected. No doubt he would have a better pulse on the market as to when a good time to launch the next Kickstarter. As Hasbro can attest, not every Kickstarter/CrowdFund is going to be a cashflow landslide.
