People are saying no Target for this SDCC set either, you either get lucky on the website, go to the convention, or buy online.

That makes sense since that's how it was pre-COVID. $150 is probably the best we could hope for. As long as they don't add some stupid swag pack to the online orders, I'm fine with that. I wasn't expecting the solicitation to come so quickly though. Why not wait until this stuff is actually in-hand and ready to ship? I get them not wanting to ship these out before the convention, but there's no need to take our money months in advance. Especially after the expensive April and May we had. I can only assume it's because they have stuff on-deck for the summer that we don't know about yet.

Yeah it seems like NECA is in a hurry with the 'toon line. It seems to be their most prohibitive license. If the Archie/Mirage/IDW stuff can be sold pretty much anywhere, it's definitely easier for people to purchase which I assume means more sales and more $ for NECA. Though they might be curious as to the viability of those lines vs the '80s toon. Not that they wouldn't sell, but they might not be as popular. I'm personally not sure.

Just make sure we get a Tempestra then I don’t care what they do with the toon line. Don’t leave us one short for Night of the Rogues.
