Army builders always sound better in theory than in execution for me, I bought multiple Hydra + AIM + Hellfire Club goons only for them to sit in bins because I don't have enough space to display them. If we ever got a Madrox + House of X Stepford Cuckoo 2 pack I'd buy 5, however.

I like the Idea. I was lucky enough to be able to get the Aim Researchers and the AIM 2-Pack at normal MSRP when I pre-ordered MODOK. I would have been not happy if I had to go source the on the second hand market.

Multiple Man would be awesome, as well as the Skrulls, Always should have AIM and Hydra Available. Could be a Hasbro Pulse thing they keep in stock a few years at a time.

I'd love an all army builder wave. The cool thing is that every figure could use a different body in this wave. Something like...

1. Watchdogs (Spider-UK base body)
Image

2. Kree/1st Appearance Captain Mar-Vell (Grim Reaper base body)
Image

3. Skrulls (Pizza Spidey base body)
Image

4. ULTIMATUM Soldier (Shatterstar base body)

5. Scourge of the Underworld (Suit body with overlay)
Image

6. Male SHIELD Agent/Gabe Jones/Jasper Sitwell/Clay Quartermain (Sunfire base body)

7. Female SHIELD Agent/Sharon Carter/Maria Hill/La Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine (typical female base body with Grey Black Widow jetpack)

NO NO NO NO NO!

Bad idea:
1) as someone stated, it would be EXTREMELY hard to get all at retail so you would HAVE to buy full waves online and end up with characters you don't want ( but I could see trading helping).
2) NO NO NO NEVER army builders as BAF's. Way to expensive.
3. I like Hasbro's approach of selling army builders at $15 each on their website
I just wish they would quicken the pace of getting us new characters. I need
Moloids, Mindless Ones, Skrulls, Kree, Doombots and golden Mandroids.

I missed out on that Multiple Man a few years ago, so I would love him to be reissued in an army builder wave or on Pulse.

There are a lot of cool MCU army builders, but I really don't see myself buying more than two or three of one character. Ultron drones and Chitauri are my most desired MCU army builders.

I don’t think Hasbro would do an army building wave. The army building concept would be best kept as a Pulse exclusive to promote the site.

1. Multiple Man. Either the Apocalypse wave figure rereleased, his classic bronze age look, or X-Factor Investigations look. Of course with multiple heads with different facial expressions.
2. SHIELD agent
3. Kree soldier
4. Skrull soldier
5. Guardsmen
6. Doom Bot
7. Ultron Drone
BAF: Brood

This basically gives people incentives to army build characters from various parts of the Marvel Universe.

Interesting idea but I'm not sure it would work. I think waves are meant to have an anchor character (Wolverine, Spider-Man etc.). Who would be the anchor in a wave made up of cannon fodder? That said, I would support it if I liked the figure choices.

My choices would be:
Chitauri
MCU Einherjar
MCU Black Widows
MCU Ultron Drones
MCU Dark Elves
MCU Kree Soldiers
MCU Skrulls
MCU Hela Warriors
Comic Ultimatum Soldiers

And no BAF. That's just too much wasted plastic if you don't wind up getting an equal numbers of the figures to complete the BAFs.
I agree with the no BAF for either a lower price or more hands, weapons and alternate heads.

And I add SHIELD agents, men and women, as a wave.

I still don't understand the "why," here. What would be the benefit to either Hasbro or me, as a collector, to have a bunch of army builders all in the same wave?

I love this idea, don't think it's feasible for them to sell a wave to the box stores unfortunately without marque characters, hope they continue the very effective one-off army builders on Pulse, and also want to give props for making the army builder in a BAF wave WORTH buying more of with the Stilt-Man ninja. More of those last two activities and I can live without an army builder wave for sure.

I feel like Hasbro should stop doing builders in waves period and just do Fan Channel Two-Packs and their Hasbro Pulse Exclusives.

I agree with everyone who is skeptical. I do enjoy everyone brainstorming future army builders though. I would have never known that I want Atlantean warriors.

It doesn't benefit Hasbro. Sprinkling them across waves supposedly increases sales.

It should benefit the collection. You get your army in a wave unless you don't army build.

It would help justify a Mindless One figure, but I can't think of many other reasons to go in this direction. The $15 army builders on Pulse are cheaper and easier to obtain.
