Confirmed to have seamless joints by social media posts today.
I am somewhat worried about this development (plus it'll make Ax Battler stand out like a sore thumb lol)

He looks awesome, but a pass for me with that seamless integration. If they were going to go this route, why not start with Ax Battler? If they keep this setup with future Golden Axe releases, Ax Battler will always look out of place. Makes me wonder if this may happen to any of the other Storm lines.

Man was I excited for this figure... but... the new design makes it very aesthetically different than the Axe Battler figure and the price is... well more than I was hoping for. i feel like he costs almost as much as the set of Ax and the Dragon did. 10.5 inches is taller than I was expecting as well.

For me to spend on one figure the amount it would cost me for a full wave of Marvel Legends it has to be perfect, and i'm nervous about the seamless joint set up.

i'm going to have to wait and see i think...

If they start to use this overlay skin on this one and on future releases than it's goodbye Storm Collectibles figures.
Yeah, I'm right there with you, sadly. If it's a one-off, oh well. If this is their new standard going forward, then I'm bowing out. And that sucks, because there's so few quality 1/10 producers out there.

Yup, count me in with the people who are super disappointed at the seamless body.

I was wanting a Death Adder so bad too, but I can already picture this figure ripping at the body or other QC issues after a year.

Was anyone really asking for seamless bodies? If it’s not broke, why try to fix or improve it, you know?

That's exactly what I was thinking. Is there a demand for this? I never saw anyone asking for this.

Looks like Storm found a way to up the price for a feature practically no one wanted. If everyone starts drinking the Mezco kool-aid, I may just be done with collecting.

Or wait for an early sample review (bearing in mind the possibility it might be already sold out). Though historically speaking, sudden sellouts only really tend to happen after multiple glowing reviews or holidays.

"Puny Kahn!" Death Adder is massive! Check out this guy's awesome shots on his Instagram.

Still unsure if I'll grab one because of the seemless joints and possible durability factor. Not to mention possible articulation setbacks. He does LOOK amazing however.ImageImageImage

Not a character I need, but I'm curious to see video reviews just to get a sense of how articulated he is. I'm sure more skin suits are coming.
